Terms of Use — Learn Python

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Learn Python mobile app and this website (together, the "Service") provided by Yetkin Berat Sönmez (Kodpath) ("we", "the developer"). By downloading, creating an account on, or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how we process your personal data.

1. Description of the Service

Learn Python is an educational app that teaches the Python programming language through gamified lessons. The Service may include lessons, exercises, exams, review practice, leaderboards, leagues, and in-app reward/gamification elements. We may update, change or discontinue the content and features of the Service from time to time.

2. Eligibility (Age)

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 13, you must not use the Service. If you are not of legal age, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts

• Anonymous account: The first time you open the App, an anonymous account is created for you automatically without an email, and your progress is stored under it.
• Permanent account: To keep your progress and access it from other devices, you can create a permanent account with an email address. Registration is done only through the mobile app. Sign-in uses a one-time code/link sent to your email instead of a password, or your Google or Apple account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and sign-in access. If you notice unauthorized use of your account, notify us.
• You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Service you agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or infringe the rights of others,
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, our servers or infrastructure, reverse-engineer it, or bypass security measures,
• Unfairly obtain or manipulate rankings, XP, streaks, rewards or in-app values through automated tools (bots, scrapers), cheating or exploitation,
• Use a name/profile that is insulting, harassing, hateful or otherwise inappropriate,
• Engage in behavior that abuses the Service, overloads it, or harms other users' experience.

Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Ads, In-App Values, Purchases and Membership

Ads. The Service contains ads: full-screen ads shown between lessons, and rewarded ads — watched only when you choose to — that grant in-app gems.

In-app values. The Service includes in-app virtual values such as gems, hearts and chests.

• These values are used only within the App; they are not real money, have no real monetary value, and cannot be redeemed outside the App.
• They are non-transferable and cannot be moved to other accounts; you are granted a limited, personal and non-transferable right to use them, and they are not your property.
• When your account is closed or the Service ends, no refund is made for unused virtual values.

Purchases and the "Super" subscription. The Service offers optional in-app purchases made with real money: a "Super" subscription (ad-free experience plus extra perks) and gem packs.

• All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to that store's terms, pricing and refund policies. The store processes the payment; we do not see your card details.
• The "Super" subscription renews automatically at the end of your chosen period unless you cancel it, and is charged to your payment method.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store / Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep the perks until then.
• Refunds are handled under the relevant store's refund policy, except where required by applicable consumer law.
• Deleting your account from within the App does not automatically cancel an active store subscription; you must cancel the subscription separately from your store account.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content within it — lessons, text, images, the mascot, logo, software and design — belong to the developer or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works of the content without our permission.

7. User Content

You are responsible for content you provide, such as a display name and profile photo, and you represent that you have the right to share it. You grant us a limited right to use this content to provide and improve the Service. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is inappropriate.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, advertising, payment/subscription and code execution (see the Privacy Policy for details). These providers may have their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Educational Content and Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is for educational purposes and is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the content, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. You are responsible for the results of any code written or run within the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including data loss, loss of profits, etc.) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Account Closure and Termination

• You: You may delete your account at any time from within the App or stop using the Service. For account-deletion steps, see the Delete Account page. (Deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription; see Section 5.)
• Us: If you violate these Terms or where legally required, we may suspend or terminate your access, with or without prior notice.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimer of warranty, limitation of liability) remain in effect.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We announce material changes in the App or at https://kodpath.com/tr/learn-python. The "Last updated" date shows the most current version. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory rights in your favor arising from consumer law are reserved.

14. App Store Terms (EULA)

If you downloaded the Service from an app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), that store's terms of use also apply. These Terms constitute the end-user license agreement (EULA) between you and the developer, not Apple or Google.

Additional terms for the Apple App Store: This license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices as permitted by Apple's rules. Maintenance and support of the Service are the developer's responsibility, not Apple's. The developer is responsible for claims that the Service fails to comply with applicable law or third-party rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you. You represent that you will comply with all applicable laws when using the Service, including U.S. export laws.
