ABOUT THIS RELEASE
The game is preparing for its Android release. Firebase and Sentry are integrated; rewarded ads and real-money purchases are not yet enabled. This policy identifies those planned features separately.
Who is responsible for your data?
Galaxy Power: Space Shooter is developed by Yetkin Berat Sönmez (Kodpath), the data controller responsible for the processing described here. This policy covers the Android game, including test releases, its pages on kodpath.com, and support communications. It does not cover Learn Python, which has its own policy.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@kodpath.com.
Game identity, progress, and rewards
Player identity. The game uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign an internal player identifier without asking you to create an email-and-password account. The game also creates an installation identifier. These identifiers are pseudonymous: they help recognize an installation or player, even though they are not your real name.
Progress and rewards. Game settings and much of your progress are stored on your device. Online Daily Supply and Daily Missions features also send and store reward-related records, such as mission progress, gameplay event or run identifiers, reward claims, timestamps, and reward balances or receipts. We use these records to deliver rewards, keep claims consistent, and prevent duplicate claims or abuse. This does not mean every part of your progress is backed up online or can be restored on another device.
Security. Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity process app/device verification information and security tokens to help check that requests come from a legitimate app environment. Our infrastructure providers also process network information, such as IP addresses and request logs, when handling online requests.
Analytics and crash reports
Firebase Analytics helps us understand how the game is used and where players encounter problems. Data can include an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, sessions, and gameplay events such as progression and feature use. Google's services may derive general location information from network data. The game's Analytics configuration disables advertising-ID collection and advertising personalization signals for Analytics; this is separate from any future advertising integration.
Sentry helps us diagnose errors and crashes. Reports can include error messages, stack traces, app version, device/OS details, and session information. The current configuration does not attach screenshots or view hierarchies and does not enable Sentry's default personal-information collection. Technical reports can still contain information associated with a device or session.
We use this information to understand reliability and improve the game. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in bug reports.
Advertising and in-app purchases
As of this policy's last update, rewarded advertising and real-money in-app purchases are being prepared and are not enabled in the current game integration. Their inclusion here explains the planned services, not an active collection of advertising or purchase data.
We plan to use Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads. Once enabled, the ads service may process IP addresses (including an approximate location inferred from them), device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. Watching a rewarded ad will be optional. We will update this policy and provide applicable consent and privacy controls before enabling advertising.
We also plan to use Google Play Billing and RevenueCat for in-app purchases. When introduced, these services may process an app-user identifier, purchased product, purchase token or receipt, and transaction/entitlement status to validate and deliver purchases. Payment details are handled by the store; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
This website does not load AdMob or RevenueCat or display personalized advertising. See Google's privacy policy, Google Mobile Ads data disclosures, and RevenueCat's privacy policy for more about those providers.
Website visits and support
The Galaxy Power pages are informational. You do not need to create an account to read them. Our website hosting provider processes the network and browser information needed to deliver and secure pages, including IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request times. The wider Kodpath website can remember your language in a cookie and your theme preference in local storage. These Galaxy Power pages do not add an advertising or analytics tracker.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any files or information you choose to send. We use these to respond, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Why we use data
We use data to operate online game features and rewards, provide support, protect the game from abuse, diagnose errors, and improve the player experience.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the purpose: providing requested game features may be necessary to perform our agreement with you; proportionate security, reliability, and support processing may be based on legitimate interests; legal recordkeeping may be required by law; and processing that requires consent, including applicable advertising or analytics uses, must rely on that consent. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the effect on your rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
An intended audience of 13 and older does not establish that every player is an adult or can consent independently in every country.
Service providers and international processing
We use Google Firebase / Google Cloud for authentication, analytics, app verification, and online reward services; Sentry for diagnostics; and website hosting and email providers to deliver these pages and answer messages. Planned AdMob and RevenueCat processing is described separately above. We do not publish your internal player identifier or reward history as a public profile.
Providers process data for the purposes described in this policy under their applicable terms. We may also disclose information where legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
The game's rewards database and reward functions are configured in Google's Belgium (europe-west1) region. This does not mean all data stays in Belgium: other services, support, and provider infrastructure can process information in other countries. Where required, international transfers must be covered by an applicable legal mechanism, such as adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Read more in Firebase's privacy information, Google's privacy policy, Sentry's privacy policy, and Vercel's privacy policy.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as it is needed for its purpose, including providing game features, resolving support requests, preventing duplicate reward claims or fraud, and meeting legal obligations. Retention differs by data type and service; technical logs and diagnostics are also subject to provider settings and retention rules. We do not promise a single deletion period for every record.
Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes local data according to your device's behavior. It does not automatically delete the anonymous Firebase identity or server-side reward records. See the next section to request deletion of data we control.
We use access controls, protected network connections, and app-verification measures to reduce unauthorized access. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices, rights, and deletion requests
Depending on where you live and the applicable law (including GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise a right or request deletion, email contact@kodpath.com and mention Galaxy Power. Tell us what you are requesting. If you have an in-game player/support identifier, include it; otherwise we will help determine what information is needed to locate your records. Do not send a password or payment-card details. We may need proportionate verification because an anonymous game identity is not necessarily linked to your email.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal requirements, security, or resolving disputes. We will explain applicable limitations. Deleting game data may make online rewards or associated progress unavailable.
You can clear this website's stored preferences through your browser settings. Your device also provides advertising-ID and privacy controls; these are separate from any consent controls introduced with the game's advertising features.
Younger players
Galaxy Power is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. This intended audience is separate from any store content rating.
We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, please contact contact@kodpath.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Players aged 13–17 are still minors. Local rules can require parental involvement or a higher age for independent consent to certain data uses. Age-appropriate advertising and any required consent protections must apply when advertising is introduced; choosing a 13+ target audience does not remove those requirements.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page as the game and its data practices change, including before planned advertising or purchase features become active. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes where required by law.
